У нас в институте есть пять пост-доковских позиций, дедлайн -- 18 октября. Вот:
The Institute of Mathematics, Statistics, and Scientific Computation at the State University of Campinas, seeks candidates for post-doctoral positions through the National Programme for Post-Doctoral Scholarships (CAPES). Two scholarships are allocated to Mathematics, two to Applied Mathematics, and one to Statistics.
We look for candidates with strong and proven research record and potential. Possible interaction with the research groups of the Institute may be an advantage.
The scholarship consists of a monthly payment of 4100 brazilian reals per month (tax-free money), plus some travel grant. The positions are initially for one year and may be renewed depending on progress. The scholars are expected to teach some undergraduate or graduate classes (at most one course per semester), depending on the necessity of the corresponding Department.
The candidates are expected to send via e-mail, the following documents:
1. Curriculum Vitae with a list of publications.
2. Research project and statement.
3. Names, addresses, and e-mails of two to three professors who could send us reference letters if asked.
These materials should be sent to:
1. Professor Laecio Carvalho de Barros, laeciocb@ime.unicamp.br (Applied Mathematics)
2. Professor Aluisio Pinheiro, pinheiro@ime.unicamp.br (Statistics)

Вообще, к нам в Бразилию можно разными способами приезжать. Если пост-доком в штат Сан Пауло, то выгоднее всего это делать через fapesp, там больше денег дают, и на больший срок. Правда, надо уже быть в контакте с тем человеком, с кем будешь работать. И получить денег от fapespа уже не так просто, как раньше. Просто визитёра (на несколько недель или месяцев) тоже пригласить нетрудно. Да и постоянные позиции открываются регулярно, вполне реально здесь зацепиться.
А наукой в Бразилии заниматься, имхо, весьма приятно:
1. Платят хорошо.
2. Тeaching в ведущих университетах не особо напряжный, например, у нас в среднем три лекции в неделю.
3. Деньги на поездки имеются, и обычно во многих источниках.
4. Уровень вполне на уровне. У нас есть IMPA, который в рекомендациях не нуждается. Но и вне Рио местами очень даже неплохо.
5. И вообще, один из филдсовских лауреатов следующего года - бразилец.
Ежели что хотите про Бразилию спросить - спрашивайте, постараюсь ответить.
Натурально, репост и вообще всяческое распространение этой информации приветствуются.
